Massage therapy has numerous benefits, including relaxation, increased circulation, improved posture, and decreased pain. Massage also calms the nervous system and flushes toxins from the muscles while working in harmony with chiropractic care.

At your appointment, you will be asked for a brief medical history and your reason for getting a massage. There are certain medical conditions where massage would not be recommended, and options can be discussed with your therapist. Then you will be asked to disrobe in private and drape yourself with the sheet provided. Only the part of the body being worked will be uncovered, and your modesty is respected.

The massage room will be dimly lit with peaceful background music and a well-padded massage table. Your comfort will be a primary concern. For that reason, your honest communication is important. Together, you and your massage therapist can determine the most appropriate massage techniques for your individual needs.
